This is one of my little boy’s favorite Object Talks that he has on his iPod. I hear him quoting it in the other room, even though I know at age three he doesn’t get half the jokes! But he does understand prayer, and often reminds us at meals or bedtime to pray! Have you connected with God today?

It is exam time in a local school in Toybox Tale Land. Melissa is tempted by her friends to cheat as they got a hold of the answers.  Melissa asks Jesus to help her resist, and she did.  Turns out the questions were all scrambled so those who cheated got 100% wrong!

The World History exam is coming up and Melissa’s friend told her that she can get her the answers to all the questions!

Melissa didn’t want to cheat so she prayed to Jesus to give her strength to resist temptation.

Josie got all the answers ready, which were from the same test from last year, but Melissa refuses to get them. Josie got mad and told Melissa that she’s not her friend anymore.

Josie and her cheating friends were so happy because they know they’d get a 100% on the test. But the teacher told them that she scrambled the answers from last year’s test. So those trying to cheat would get 100% wrong!

The teacher congratulated Melissa for not cheating and doing her best.

Would you trade your good qualities in order to get anything you want?  Trade honesty for good grades?  Exchange humility to be popular?  Some got tricked and become prisoners.  One girl stood up and got help from Jesus the Ultimate Rescue, who reminded the people not to trade their good qualities with what the world offers.

A smart guy was willing to trade his honesty for cheating in order to get perfect grades in all his tests.

A pretty girl traded her humility in order to be the most popular in school.

The stranger tricked the spy dude to trade his trust with stealing in order to get the coolest gadgets.

A girl passing by didn’t want to trade and noticed all the people who were imprisoned because they traded their good characters.

The girl called on Jesus, the Ultimate Rescue Hero, who saved all the prisoners and reminded them not to trade their good characters with what the world offers.

Meet Lance Dodgers, the greatest lawyer in the world.  He was on his way to making lots of money in the wrong way when a little girl asked him what God’s will is.  He ended up praying and praying to find out that His will isn’t about making money, but trusting our life to God and living a life of honesty.

Mr. Lance Dodgers has lots of clients. Anakin Skywalker needed help suing Count Dooku for chopping his arm off.

Count Dooku wanted to sue George Lucas for giving him a funny name.

Mr. Dodgers had an easy job making money suing people, not until a little girl wanted help in knowing God’s will. Mr. Dodgers found out he can contact God through prayer.

And so he prayed and talked to God and found out that God’s will isn’t about where all His money would go when He dies.

The great lawyer had to think hard and told God that he would start being honest in his work and turn his life over to Him so that he will experience God’s wonderful will.
