Toybox Tales features a new show “Choose Your Hero” where contestants choose which hero they want to imitate. Most heroes have a weakness except for Jesus who loves us, walks with us, and saves us from evil.

The story of Ebenezer Vader continues as he gets visited by the spirit of Christmas present. They visited a party where Ebenezer wasn’t invited because he was a grumpy guy. They saw a sick boy who even prayed for Darth Scrooge, Ebenezer’s other name.

Ebenezer Vader is a grumpy mean evil man who hated Christmas because his workers always wanted to take the day off. The ghost of Christmas past visited him to show him what a good person he was a long time ago; how his mother had great dreams for him, Yoda taught him good Jedi skills, and Queen Amidala loved him.

It was tea time for three little girls, Meshack, Youshack, and Abungaloe, when Sergeant Plasto arrived. Fed up together with plastic army men getting no respect, he insisted the girls bow to him or else be thrown in the fire! They chose to trust God rather than bow to man, and were miraculously saved in the flames. (However, a few of the plastic army men learned what happens when plastic gets too close to the fire!)

On the pilot episode of the TBT “Apprentice,” a rich business man named Donald Chump, gives $100 to a group of toys and tells them, “Show me what you can do with $100.” Each of them runs off eager to get the job as his apprentice! They all buy or invest the money in some profitable way, but one toy uses all the money to give and bless others. She wins the contest!

A team of pirates miss out on a treasure simply because they don’t want to read anything. Captain Crunch encourages all children to read the Bible daily because there are tons of treasures in it to discover.

RSVP, the special host for this episode, talks about the life of Annie, er, Andy, and how he turned to the good side.

Kermit is on location at Scariasic Park where they study the eating habits of dinosaurs! The dinos keep settling for the first thing that comes along. The leader of the pack is trying to teach the others patience, that good things come to those who wait.

Davey creates a robot of himself that he can “self” control to overpower the bully that’s been bothering him. Jesus made a surprise visit and Davey made his robot help the bully instead. Davey learns that “self” control is important whether someone is watching or not!
